Property Location & Area
Lying around 56km from Natal, Maracajaú is, nowadays,
one of the most promising beaches in the State of Rio Grande do Norte, as far as
tourism is concerned. Its beaches with crystalline water, sea-front coconut
groves, sand dunes with very white sand and a large coral formation occupying
more than 13km², make the beach one of the most complete in terms of leisure
options. Snorkeling in the parrachos (large natural pools that form at low tide)
is very common, and several sunken ships are part of the underwater seascape
that can be seen by anyone who goes diving with an oxygen cylinder. Sliding down
the dunes on a sandboard, a large aquatic park and the golf courses that are now
being built add to the leisure options in Maracajaú. A peaceful coastal village,
with around 2,500 residents, Maracajaú is synonymous with peace and quiet. The
small fishing village still retains its original charm, with sailing rafts
anchored on the sea shore. The people are very welcoming and their main source
of income comes from artisanal fishing. The entire economy is focused on the
sea. However, ever since a road was built to give access to the village, the
economic profile has been changing, with investors arriving from all over the
world to reveal Maracajaú’s tourist potential. An excellent lodging and
restaurant structure is already in place to unite peace and tranquility with
comfort. This is the enchanting scenario that you can invest: one of the last
pieces of paradise on the charming Northeastern
coastline.
