- Only 48km from Natal, the next beach south, is the last on
Natal's southern coast. At one point, the asphalt ends and the road which
leads to the Guaraíras lagoon requires buggies. The breeze and marine currents lend themselves to fishing and
water sports. There is a small ferry that transports buggies and cars
across the entrance of the Lagoa Guaira. This ferry now allows you
to drive south from Natal along the beaches without having to go inland
around the Lagoa Guaira.
