An island off the coast of Bahia has been included in a travel writer's list of the best experiences in South America.
Metro World News writer Paul Irvine listed the island of Boipeba among his "can't miss experiences on the Latin continent".
He urged readers to get the experience of speedboating around the island.
"Discover a new facial expression called speedboat smile - an uncontrollable expression of joy only seen when aquaplaning across clear blue sea toward a floating bar," he wrote, adding that this bar was one kilometre away from Biopeba.
After that, he said that visitors could enjoy lobster and caipirinha at the venue.
There is a rich array of wildlife in Boipeba, with sea turtles, mollusks, algae, coral, sea urchins and fish being among the creatures that live there, along with a nature rich Atlantic rainforest.
It is located in the Tinhare archipelago, south of Bahia, North East Brazil.
