Relocating to Brazil could be a good option for Britons who are tired of life in the UK.
This is according to Oliver Watson of the recruitment consultancy Michael Page, who told the Independent that such people should be on the lookout for a country with a good gross domestic product and an economy linked to natural resources, both of which Brazil has.
"It has an immature and developing market and isn't exposed to the kind of debts that developed Western countries have suffered from," the expert added.
He pointed out that as a result, although Brazil will feel the effects of the recession, it should not be as severe as in the UK and US.
Natal in the north east could be a good place in which to buy property in Brazil. The Move Channel states that it is about to open a number of new sports facilities that should attract more tourists, including the David Beckham Soccer Academy and the Rubens Barrichello Motor Racing School.
