Brazilian property is receiving a lot of attention at the moment because the economy makes it a safe and strong place to invest, it has been argued.
An article on Corsavoo.com suggested the country has "a reliable, robust economy in which to invest", mostly thanks to the policies Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva government.
The website cited recent growth figures far in excess of the global average and referred to it as "an attractive, safe, increasingly accessible and very affordable place to vacation".
Brazil is set to come into the international spotlight over the next few years, with the Fifa World Cup heading to the country in 2014.
The sites where the matches are to be played have yet to be decided, although numerous places in North-East Brazil have said they would like to host some of the games, including Natal, Fortaleza and Salvador.
This may lead to greater investment in Brazil, as the 2008 Olympic Games has for Beijing.
