Overseas property buyers have been encouraged to consider making a purchase in Brazil.
According to the BuyAssociation website, the South American nation offers a number of financial and lifestyle benefits.
As a result, it is becoming increasingly popular with people who wish to buy a foreign residence for personal use.
The online portal highlighted Brazil's weather as one of its main attributes, as it offers consistently hot and sunny conditions.
This, it said, makes it as desirable as any part of the Caribbean.
BuyAssociation added that Brazil is free of the overcrowding which many tend to associate with Latin America.
Consequently, this has led to a growing number of foreign property buyers looking at the market.
Paul Collins, property editor at the website, commented: "The country is now emerging as a destination for those who are looking for a more permanent base abroad."
He added that while prices in many markets have been going up in recent years, it is "good to see" that bargains are still available to foreign buyers.
