Brazilian property a good investment for Isa holders?

Investment in Brazilian property may be an option for those taking out stocks and shares Isas, as it has been advised that speculators should put some of their money in real estate.

Writing for the Daily Mail, Richard Dyson said people should attempt to lower their risk by speculating in a few different areas.

He advised spreading money by investing in real estate, bonds and shares, while making sure they have put savings away in cash-type reserves like Premium Bonds.

How people choose to allocate their funds across the sectors depends on how much risk they are prepared to take on, the expert said.

Mr Dyson noted that 30-year-old investor Neil Rosenburgh has an aggressive portfolio, which is a longer term programme that may offer less security to the speculator.

Part of his money is going to toward investment in Brazil, through JPMorgan Asset Management.

Kevin Deamer, financial planner with KMD Wealth Management in Stansted, told the journalist an aggressive portfolio could mean ploughing 12 per cent of an investor's money into property.
