People considering commercial investment in Brazil may be interested to know the country's car production industry has benefited from the economic conditions in the nation.
According to Brazilian automakers' association Anfavea, 3.4 per cent more vehicles were manufactured in August compared with July, Reuters reported.
Rising demand in both domestic and international markets was cited as the reason for the boom in the sector.
In Brazil, a rise in the availability of domestic credit as well as low unemployment figures saw more people looking to buy cars, the news provider stated, citing Anfavea.
Indeed, sales of cars were up 21.2 per cent in August compared with the year before - an all-time high for the month.
The figures showed production was up to 329,100 vehicles - an 11.5 per cent year-on-year increase, the information source noted.
More people may be looking to purchase expensive goods such as cars and property in Brazil as a recent study from the country's Institute of Applied Economic Research found the population was becoming wealthier, Xinhua reported.
