Hotels for sale in Brazil may make good returns all year round, as one commentator has said "it is hard to go wrong" when choosing which season to travel to the country.
Writing for TNT, Tom Sturrock visited Rio de Janeiro, Iguazu Falls and Paraty on the nation's Costa Verde.
The journalist began his journey at Estadio Sao Januario in Rio de Janeiro, where he witnessed a football match, describing the party-like atmosphere among the crowd.
People interested in investing in property in Rio de Janeiro or hotels for sale in the area may like to hear about the festivities around the game ahead of the 2014 World Cup, which will be held across 12 cities in Brazil.
The writer spoke of a match between home team CR Vasco da Gama, otherwise known as Vasco, against Sao Paulo's Santos.
"The drums never stop beating but as the home side appears, a roar erupts and the drums beat louder and faster," Mr Sturrock stated.
He noted that merchandise, food and alcohol were all available ahead of the match, while fans wrapped themselves in black and white flags.
In the Guardian, Gavin McOwan gave tips to those staying in property in Rio de Janeiro or local hotels for choosing which bars to drink in.
He listed his favourite ten, including Jobi in Lebion, Azul Marinho in Ipanema and Bar Brasil in Lapa.
Mr McOwan described many of his chosen pubs as local watering holes, which are part of "the fabric of the city", advising people they did not have to pay the higher prices asked for in those establishments more geared toward tourists.
In Paraty, a town besides Costa Verde's mountains, Mr Sturrock enjoyed a drink in a local bar, noting the music that filled the town.
"The air hums with salsa and folk music; the wheeze of an accordion drifts up from the far end of a street flush with bars," he stated.
Meanwhile, Iguazu Falls was another kind of attraction, where tourists go sightseeing and abseiling.
The waterfalls, which are located on the border between Brazil and Argentina, have appeared in films such as Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, as well as Miami Vice and Moonraker.
Mr Sturrock abseiled down the side of the falls, noting boats of tourist in the basin below.
He described the area as being within a jungle, with several waterfalls converging into the same pool, one of the largest of these named Garganto do Diabo (the Devil's Throat).
