Investment in Brazil has become more popular than similar activities in the US, a new survey has revealed.
The study, compiled by Bloomberg, found Brazil and China to be regarded the most likely nations to ensure profitable returns, with India coming in third.
Released quarterly, the last report of over 1,400 investors showed the US to hold the top spot, although the country has been hit by economic uncertainty in recent months, causing it to slip.
However, Brazil's performance has been boosted by its healthy stocks and shares position, which has seen the country's Bovespa Index rise by 10.56 per cent over a three-month period.
Nations listed as the worst places to invest included Japan and the UK, while the European Union as a whole was considered a difficult market.
Investment in Brazil was recently highlighted by Jonathan Burton as showing potential for profits, with the infrastructure sector offering particularly lucrative opportunities.
