Making an investment in Brazil could continue to be a good move for investors during 2010, according to Urban Larson, emerging equities fund manager for global asset company F&C.
He said: "I remain positive on the long-term outlook for Latin America and believe the majority of the region's markets, small and large, can continue to offer very attractive opportunities for investors this year."
The tip to make an investment in Brazil is the latest from a financial expert after Mark Mobius, executive chairman of US-based Templeton Asset Management, said the Latin American country could be one of the safest to invest in this year.
He said making an investment in Brazil was a good option as the country produces a lot of its own fuel and food and is not reliant on imports.
The financial crash in the US showed less developed countries were no riskier to invest in than more developed economies, he added.
