Investment in Brazil's stock exchange, the Bovespa, is set to increase throughout the remainder of 2009.
This is the view of financial firm Credit Suisse, which announced it expects the index to see a four per cent increase in earnings in the coming months.
Higher oil prices and more favourable market conditions for iron ore will see the Bovespa continue to flourish in 2010, the group predicted.
It could lead to the Latin American country enjoying better than expected growth in its GDP.
Emerson Leite, an analyst for Credit Suisse, told news agency Bloomberg: "We remain above consensus for 2010 earnings."
It comes after a report from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors announced that real estate property in Brazil is likely to see growth in investment from overseas buyers.
The firm's third quarter Global Property Survey said that tenant demand for property in Brazil would be higher than it had been in the previous three months.
