Investment in Brazil's infrastructure could be supported by the inward migration of skilled workers to boost knowledge levels among local employees, suggests Manpower.
The Auckland-based New Zealand arm of the global recruitment and workforce strategy operator explains that a mobile workforce can ensure that investment in Brazil and other economies in the years to come achieves its aims.
Chris Riley, general manager of the firm, adds that long-term training can accompany short-term migration to create an overall strategy to make the necessary skills available for projects of all kinds.
By using the two techniques in partnership, he says that "creating an environment which encourages infrastructure projects and national growth" is possible.
His comments follow the publication of research by Manpower New Zealand showing that Brazil is one of the countries where the skill levels of applicants are among the top two concerns for recruiters with vacancies to fill.
