Manufacturer Renishaw plans investment in Brazil

A Gloucestershire-based manufacturer is planning to increase its investment in Brazil.
Speaking to Insider Media, assistant chief executive of Renishaw Ben Taylor explained the enterprise is keen to expand its operations in the South American country.
He said that China is no longer considered to be a target area for the company and it is now looking to emerging markets such as Brazil as they will provide "more opportunities".
Renishaw is also targeting India and Russia.
"In Brazil we've bought new land and we're going to building to support our new facility there," Mr Taylor stated.
He told the specialist business news publication that as the country continues to develop, the enterprise will be ploughing in further investment, especially as many of its large customers are already producing equipment there.
Renishaw manufacturers a number of different products, from industrial machine tool probes and software to medical devices such as neurosurgery solutions.
