People who have been considering investing in property in Brazil may be interested to read that now has been highlighted as a good time to do so.
An article written by Spencer Ante of BusinessWeek states that the Latin American country is emerging as an attractive destination for investors around the world.
Indeed, statistics published by the Brazilian Association for Private Equity & Venture Capital and cited by the publication suggest that investors had committed $28 million (£16.9 million) in venture and private equity capital to Brazilian companies by the end of 2008.
Mr Ante said that Brazil has benefited thanks to being less hard hit by the recession than other countries, as well as its legal system that protects property rights.
"Now is the time to invest in Brazil," opined Marcus Regueira of FIR Capital.
Earlier this month, an article by Full Circle Asset Management, published by Money Week, suggested that emerging markets such as Brazil may be the best destinations in which to invest in property.
