Investing in property in Fortaleza would present a fantastic opportunity for businesspeople, it has been claimed.
Advice portal The Move Channel points out that Brazil is now a hotspot for property investment thanks to its having the tenth biggest economy in the world and not being in recession.
Flexeiras, just north of Fortaleza was particularly recommended as a good place for potential investors to consider thanks to its facilities and proximity to the airport - it is an hour's drive to the international hub.
The resort also has some excellent beaches, the website states.
"Coral reefs protect the shores, making it extremely child friendly and there are no sharks on these beaches, unlike in other parts of Brazil," it attests.
Meanwhile, the area also offers living costs of up to 60 per cent cheaper than in the UK.
Fortaleza is the capital of the state of Ceara and is situated in north eastern Brazil.
