A good performance from Brazilian property developers is expected to be seen on the country's stock exchange this month.
Bloomberg reported on a note from analyst Carlos Sequeira, which revealed that Banco BTG Pactual has added real estate companies to its portfolio for June, including homebuilders Rossi Residencial and MRV Engenharia & Participacoes.
The news provider stated that the BTG Pactual expects to see banks and Brazilian property developers drive the country's Bovespa index upwards this month, while it is also retaining holdings of miner Vale and oil firm Petroleo Brasileiro.
Shares in Itau Univanco, a lender based in the nation, have also been added to BTG Pactual's portfolio for June.
The asset management firm believes that worries over the country's inflation will ebb and aid the performance of real estate stocks.
