People who are looking to make an investment in Brazil have a wide range of opportunities, it has been noted.
According to overseas investment specialist David Hunkar, Brazil is a better investment option than South American rival Chile.
In an article for Seeking Alpha, Mr Hunkar argued that Brazil is less dependent on commodity exports than Chile.
"With a larger population and rising income levels among the middle class, Brazil offers a wide range of opportunities for investors," he commented.
Mr Hunkar added that more people choose to make an investment in Brazil than in Chile, with far more money put into the iShares MSCI Brazil ETF than the iShares MSCI Chile Investable Market ETF.
This comes after Sebastian Luparia, manager of the new JPMorgan Brazil Investment Trust, stated that people looking to make an investment in Brazil should look beyond major companies such as Vale and Petrobras.
He said investors should consider options other than exported goods, as they make up just ten per cent of the country's GDP.
